“GOOD MANNERS" CLASSES

Well trained dogs are a joy to be with. All dogs deserve to show how good they can really be. The main problem being puppies grow up so quickly, learning good and bad habits as they grow and unless they are trained consistently from early on, their cute behaviour becomes destructive or annoying as they grow older.

There are many reasons why dogs do not get the training that they require. That cute little puppy that was enchanting is now six months old, disrupting the household and doesn't seem to understand a word of English!

Socialization is essential for a stable and happy dog. It is however, very difficult to socialise your dog with other pets, or out on walks, if you do not have proper control of its behaviour. During  “Good Manners' Classes the problem of dogs pulling ahead and lunging at other dogs will be addressed. You will be introduced to the most modern positive training methods that are easy to follow and kind to both you and your pet.

Bad habits, such as digging, jumping up, biting, running away and barking are just some of the problems that can be solved by proper training.

Positive trainers avoid the use of punishment and focus on teaching behaviours they want rather than correcting the behaviours that they don't want. This leads the dog to learn important lessons without fear and the handler gets the most out of their best friend.

“Good Manners' Classes are suitable for all dogs over six months of age and last one hour in duration and run over four consecutive weeks. All classes are run indoors.
