PUPPY PRE-SCHOOL
All puppies deserve the chance to become wonderful, family pets. In the first few months of life, puppies will accept almost anything new. After this age, new experiences will often be regarded with fear.
Puppy Classes are fun for both the puppy and the handler. We provide a safe and friendly environment where you will be able to learn modern, positive training methods that will motivate your puppy to learn quickly without intimidation, pain or fear. We are available for home training, however, puppies that are socialized at a young age with other puppies are given a great advantage and we encourage all new puppy owners to attend puppy classes. Our classes provide a safe opportunity for your puppy to come into contact with dogs and people they haven't met before - one of the most important skills for a dog to master. This can be managed in a controlled way to avoid any unpleasant experiences for your pup.
Experienced instructors will introduce you to basic training and learning principles, using the latest techniques in positive and motivational training. Positive trainers avoid the use of punishment and focus on teaching behaviours they want rather than correcting the behaviours that they don't want. This leads the puppy to learn important lessons without fear and the handler gets the very best out of their new best friend.
Puppy Pre-School classes are currently conducted for puppies up to six months of age and last one hour in duration and run over four consecutive weeks. All classes are run indoors.
 Classes are conducted at the Bannockburn Veterinary Clinic, 1759 Midland Highway, Bannockburn, Vic, 3331 on Tuesday evenings, commencing at 6.45pm.
Class sizes are limited to six (6) and bookings can be made on-line by completing our enrolment form or telephoning Doggy Problems on 0408 318 007.
Cost $71.50 per puppy payable to Bannockburn Veterinary Clinic.
